Photo Shoot: Lakeside Ranch

We are always on the lookout for new things within the events world, so we were so excited when we were asked to be a part of the introduction of an amazing new event site!

Lakeside Ranch, located in Inverness, FL, just west of Ocala, is a picturesque ranch perfect for any occasion!

Our photo shoot was so much fun, in part because of all the other great vendors we got to be creative with, and party due to the friendly, furry residents we ran into there. Yes, while setting up we did get to play with the horses, mules, and more than reside on the ranch. It took "excuse me, sir" to a whole new level.

We never say no to more helping hands-or hooves!

Never a dull moment on the job!

But after all was said and done, Russell Martin Photography did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the Ranch and we are so excited to be involved in the future events there.

Congratulations Sugirtha and Julian!

On a gorgeous day in May Sugirtha and Julian said their "I do's" and became husband and wife. During a traditional Indian wedding, the couple married at the altar at Queen of Peace in Gainesville, Florida.

The bride was a vision in all white.

A groom that can't hide his excitement is the best sight to walk towards down the aisle!

 

After they were pronounced man and wife Sugirtha was surrounded by friends and family who helped her transform into a vision in white into her ornate traditional Indian attire for the reception. 

Approximately 80 guests attended a colorful reception at Plantation Hall in Haile Plantation to celebrate with Sugirtha and Juilan!

     

The bride and groom sat in a custom designed mandap to share their first moments as husband and wife together and it also created a gorgeous backdrop for their cake cutting.

We are so excited to share in Sugirtha and Julian's special day and wish them all the best of luck as Mr. & Mrs. Manohar!

Fall Tablescape

Fall is in the air, bringing that magical time of year where the air is crisp and cool and the leaves ring in magical change!

Fall is also a time filled with lots of family get-togethers. The kids are coming home from school, in-laws come into town for Thanksgiving, and time at the table is abundant. We're here to offer you some inspiration for your next sit down at the dinner table! This is a tablescape we did for Gainesville Magazine's October/November issue a couple years back.

Florida Gator Tablescape

Well here in Gainesville we're a week away from one of the most celebrated occasions in town-the start of football season. Where the girls are the fairest and the boys are the squarest, this town is breaking out their tents and setting up for tail-gator season!

In honor of this momentous occasion here in town, we want to share a tablescape we did for Gainesville Magazine's August-September issue back in 2010.

A gorgeous day and a gorgeous bride made for one absolutely gorgeous wedding. We love all of our brides and working with Cat was no exception. This fashionista's glamorous wedding at the Hippodrome was stunning! Married on a stage set to display the excitement of New York City, Cat wrote her own happily ever after and finished this screenplay with "I Do!"

For the past four years we have had the honor of designing Noche de Gala, a night to honor the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation and their efforts to raise money to build a full-service, state-of-the-art children's hospital in Gainesville, Florida.

We are proud to introduce the theme for this year: Noche de Gala Azul!

About two years ago, we were so excited when Gainesville Magazine came to us and wanted to make us a regular part of their publications. Since then, we have been creating fabulous tablescapes to be featured in each issue- tablescapes that you can have in your own home.

We love working with all of our brides, and working with Crystal no exception. She was an absolute joy to be around-one of the sweetest brides ever!

Here's a little preview of how we helped transform her dreams into her dream wedding!

This punch bowl has been used in Crystal's family in weddings over the past three generations. It belonged to her great-grandmother. We love when couples are able to incorporate family heirlooms into their special day!

Isn't it gorgeous?!?
