Photo Shoot: Lakeside Ranch

We are always on the lookout for new things within the events world, so we were so excited when we were asked to be a part of the introduction of an amazing new event site!

Lakeside Ranch, located in Inverness, FL, just west of Ocala, is a picturesque ranch perfect for any occasion!

Our photo shoot was so much fun, in part because of all the other great vendors we got to be creative with, and party due to the friendly, furry residents we ran into there. Yes, while setting up we did get to play with the horses, mules, and more than reside on the ranch. It took "excuse me, sir" to a whole new level.

We never say no to more helping hands-or hooves!

Never a dull moment on the job!

But after all was said and done, Russell Martin Photography did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the Ranch and we are so excited to be involved in the future events there.

Perfect snacks for your football tailgate!

Are you ready for some football?? Oh, yes, tonight is Monday night football! We all know there are staples to every football party or tailgate. First off-oversized TV to watch the game. Secondly, team spirit, taken to whatever degree you feel is necessary to cheer your team to victory. Lastly, but certainly not least, refreshments and food to keep your energy up all throughout the game!

While chips and dip is a pretty standard player in any tailgate, we love these ideas to elevate your tailgate even further up the field!

Well, it's official- football season is officially back! Parties and tailgates are a huge part of football season and the last thing you want to do is drop the ball on your event!

This football party featured on Hostess with the Mostess looks like so much fun! No matter what the score of the game is, this party gets a WIN!

Olympics 2012 Opening Ceremony

This past Friday kicked off the 2012 Summer Olympics. The Olympics is the event of all events and this year's kickoff in London did not disappoint!

With an elaborate town scene set to depict the early beginning of Great Britain, townspeople rolled up the grassy fields as nearly 1,000 drummers entered the stadium, representing the arrival of the Industrial Revolution, while towers and smoke stacks rose from the ground. We were taken through the adventures of James Bond watching as Daniel Craig and the good Queen "herself" parachuted down for their grand entrance, through the ages of pop in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, ending as the torch was lit from horns representative of all the participating countries.

I'm not sure if anyone, even Disney, has produced as amazing a fireworks show as the one that set London on fire to conclude the Opening Ceremony!

What was your favorite part of the Opening Ceremony? (Yes, we realize David Beckham's speedboat run is probably pretty high up there!)
