Winter Bucket List

Oh, it's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is almost here and with it lots of fun and joy. The smell of pine from a gorgeously decorated tree, the construction of small houses made of candy and cookie for the Gingerbread man, trying to figure out if Santa is going to like sugar or chocolate chip better this year....there is so much fun that Christmas brings!

It also means school is out and the kids will need to be constantly entertained. Whether you're looking for ways to stay sane, or you're just looking to get the most out of this festive time of year, this Winter bucket list is a MUST this holiday season!

Post-Halloween Spooks!

Well Halloween may have come and gone, but that doesn't mean the fun has to go with it! A couple of year's ago comedian Jimmy Kimmel asked parents to tell their kids that they ate all of their Halloween candy when they woke up the morning after. We cannot stop laughing!

We don't know too many kids that would let this crime go so easily...

So all you sneaky moms, how do you think your kids would react if you told them you ate all of their Halloween candy?

Halloween Buckets

Everybody knows trick-or-treating is a Halloween staple. Contests about who got the most candy, trading the pieces you don't like for that coveted chocolate bar your brother got, and sneaking pieces behind mom and dad's backs are all things to look forward to after the neighborhood conquest.

Pillow cases and the plastic pumpkin buckets may work just fine, but how much more fun would your collection of candy be in the these personalized Halloween buckets you can find on Etsy?!?

What candy did you most look forward to getting during your trick-or-treating adventures??

Money Ballons

Everyone wants to give the perfect gift, and rightfully so, but sometimes deciding on what that gift is is difficult. One universal thing that everyone loves though....money!

These money balloons we found on Be Different, Act Normal would make THE perfect gift for the hard to buy for teen or eager kid who is saving up to buy that totally awesome toy they've been wanting!

I would be in a popping frenzy if someone brought a bouquet of balloons filled with money into my house!

Warning: Added confetti- extra messy, extra fun!

What are your thoughts on this gift idea??

Sno-Cone Cupcakes

As summer is drawing to a close, it's important to cherish every last warm moment before we break out the jackets for Fall! One of the staples of summer is the snow cone. I'd bet that virtually everyone has a snow cone memory that brings a smile to their face. Carnivals, concerts, lounging poolside....the cool treat is perfect for any outdoor occasion!

That being said, how adorable are these snow cone cupcakes?!?

1. Place the cupcake, sans wrapper, inside a Styrofoam cup.

2.  Pour pink sugar in to a small bowl. While holding the base of your cupcake, gently roll the frosting around in the sprinkles until it is thoroughly coated.

3. Add straws or spoons to your cupcake to make it even more festive!

Would these not be perfect for your end-of-summer bash?!?

Just Kid-ding Around!

Paint, crayons, and toys, oh my! While you may not think these things have any place at your wedding or party, you may want to think again if you anticipate or know you may have kids attending your event.

Creating a separate kids table with plenty of things to keep them occupied will give their parents a break from trying to keep them constantly occupied and keep them away from climbing cabinets or trying to lick the cake-hopefully....
