Happy Halloween!

Trick-or-treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! Ahh it's that night of the year where all of the witches and wizards, Ninja turtles, Disney princesses, and army men join forces to scour the neighborhood for all the best candy hotspots.

While it's adorable to watch all the kids running from house to house in this year's costume, we want everyone to have a safe and fun holiday while they're out!

Some Halloween safety tips from Keith Watson:

  • The buddy system never gets old!
    • Have all your friends meet at one house so you can all trick-or-treat in a group. The more eyes on the look out the less likely there is that anything will go awry!
  • Flashlights for the kids.
    • Give each kid a flashlight for when the sun goes down so they don't trip on anything or lose their way. You can even make a fun gobo out of contact paper that will make lighting the way even more fun!
  • Make bracelets out of beads for your kid's with the best number to reach you at in case they do get separated.
  •  Incorporate reflective tape into your child's costume or put it on the backs of their shoes so that cars and bikers, and you, are aware of where they are at all times!
We can't wait to see pictures of everyone's Halloween fun!

Fall Wedding: Escort Cards

Fall is such a gorgeous time to get married. The weather is cool, the leaves are changing (well, if you're outside of Florida), and the holidays are drawing near.

How fun are these miniature pumpkins used for escort cards or even table numbers we saw on Project Wedding for your Fall-inspired reception?!?

These would be great for any Fall festivities you may have planned this season or for your upcoming Thanksgiving dinner!

Halloween Buckets

Everybody knows trick-or-treating is a Halloween staple. Contests about who got the most candy, trading the pieces you don't like for that coveted chocolate bar your brother got, and sneaking pieces behind mom and dad's backs are all things to look forward to after the neighborhood conquest.

Pillow cases and the plastic pumpkin buckets may work just fine, but how much more fun would your collection of candy be in the these personalized Halloween buckets you can find on Etsy?!?

What candy did you most look forward to getting during your trick-or-treating adventures??

Congratulations Sugirtha and Julian!

On a gorgeous day in May Sugirtha and Julian said their "I do's" and became husband and wife. During a traditional Indian wedding, the couple married at the altar at Queen of Peace in Gainesville, Florida.

The bride was a vision in all white.

A groom that can't hide his excitement is the best sight to walk towards down the aisle!

After they were pronounced man and wife Sugirtha was surrounded by friends and family who helped her transform into a vision in white into her ornate traditional Indian attire for the reception.

Approximately 80 guests attended a colorful reception at Plantation Hall in Haile Plantation to celebrate with Sugirtha and Juilan!

The bride and groom sat in a custom designed mandap to share their first moments as husband and wife together and it also created a gorgeous backdrop for their cake cutting.

We are so excited to share in Sugirtha and Julian's special day and wish them all the best of luck as Mr. & Mrs. Manohar!

Fall Tablescape

Fall is in the air, bringing that magical time of year where the air is crisp and cool and the leaves ring in magical change!

Fall is also a time filled with lots of family get-togethers. The kids are coming home from school, in-laws come into town for Thanksgiving, and time at the table is abundant. We're here to offer you some inspiration for your next sit down at the dinner table! This is a tablescape we did for Gainesville Magazine's October/November issue a couple years back.
