Things you associate with 4th of July- BBQs grilling burgers with friends , fireworks lighting up the night sky, and radiating feelings of patriotism. This 4th of July make your party sparkle even brighter than the last with fun snacks and drinks for your guests!

It's Simple! Fill the cup approximately 1/3 full with ice. Fill 1/3 of the cup with fruit punch, 1/3 with blue gatorade, and the final third with sugar-free sprite.

4th of July Tablescape

About two years ago, we were so excited when Gainesville Magazine came to us and wanted to make us a regular part of their publications. Since then, we have been creating fabulous tablescapes to be featured in each issue- tablescapes that you can have in your own home.

Congratulations Crystal & Bobby Gay!

We love working with all of our brides, and working with Crystal no exception. She was an absolute joy to be around-one of the sweetest brides ever!

Here's a little preview of how we helped transform her dreams into her dream wedding!

This punch bowl has been used in Crystal's family in weddings over the past three generations. It belonged to her great-grandmother. We love when couples are able to incorporate family heirlooms into their special day!

Date Week: Part 3

Flashback Friday! Friday is historically one of the most popular date nights. Your school week is over, your'e off of work for the weekend, and all the best new movies come out. Instead of sitting through a new movie though, why not create your own flashback Friday.

Let your inner kid come out and have some fun!

 

Scrunchies are a must for this date! What flashback ideas would you incorporate into date night???

Date Week: Part 2

We know it can be hard to keep coming up with great new ideas for dates you and your boyfriend/fiance/husband can share.

Instead of reverting back to a movie night at home, throw a party! Invite a bunch of your friends over for h'ordeuvres and cocktails and prepare everyone for the Can O' Dates.

Here's the deal: Everyone contributes at least one date idea to the can. They write it on a piece of paper, fold it up, and drop it in.

Next time you can't decide what to do on date night you'll have plenty of ideas! Make a game out of it and have everyone pull out an idea that they have to do next!

Date Week: Part 1

Your first thought when you think date night? Dinner and a movie. While that can be great, there are so many other ways to spice up those go-to plans.

We loved this army themed date night we found on Dating Divas!

Leave mission cards for your guy for when he arrives. Each one will reveal the next step of the date!

Mission #2: Go out and get matching camo gear for you and your guy to wear-always stick to the theme!

Mission #3: Whether you want to stay in or go out, give your man "Permission to take you to dinner."

Mission #4 Video Surveillance. Grab a combat movie you know your guy will love and get your cuddle time in while you watch an action packed movie together!

Mission Complete-you have created a successful date night! What do you guys think of this idea??

Mustache for your drink

Boxcar, handle bar, fu manchu...you all know what we're talking about-mustaches. Not just any mustaches though. Those mustaches that you just can't help but see and chuckle. That being said- would these not add a laugh to your next get together???

Entertaining Tips

Entertaining guests is no easy task. It goes without saying that there is a lot of work involved in pulling off a successful event. The guest list, the decor, the preparation....it can all get a little overwhelming.

Never fear-we've put together some some fool-proof party tips to help your next get together go off without a hitch!

• Send out invitations three weeks in advance. This will give your guests ample time to mark their calendars! If your party is themed, incorporate that into your invites so your guests know what to look forward to! 
• Get decor prepared the morning of or the night before your event-no one wants to be rushed into opening the door with wet hair! 
• To keep your costs down, consider making a few batches of a signature drink for your event.

• Candle light adds ambiance to any setting, but don't bother lighting those candles until 6pm. No need to have candles lit while the sun is still shining!
